Because I’m Hardcore Like That
I get a lot of questions about the tattoo on my wrist.
I got it after going through a stressful time with my past job. I was ultimately trying to control all aspects of my life, and well… it wasn’t working.
The tattoo comes from scripture – Psalm 46:10.
Be still and know that I am God.
And that’s exactly what I needed to do.
I almost got it in regular script, but decided it would be cool in Hebrew. So I did some research on the language and came up with this.
I wanted it in a place where I could see it when I needed to. To be reminded to allow God to be God.
So here it is, the branded promise to myself that I am going to allow God to do His job – right there on my wrist.

That’s definitely a reminder worth inking.
Be still always. 🙂
I think so too Lux! Thanks for reading! 🙂
What specifically does your tattoo say? Be still? Be still and know? . It’s my life verse ❤️
Oh my gosh, Ang… I’m SO SORRY I’m just seeing this comment. It must have gotten lost in the middle of my notifications. I’m so sorry. But to answer your question, this is only the “be still” portion of Psalm 46:10…. “har-poo” it’s pronounced, I believe. 🙂 It reads left to right.
