Someone’s Got Jokes

My husband has been known to heckle me about my sense of humor or lack there of every once in a while. He claims that when I am online, texting, or blogging that I can be somewhat humorous, however in “real life” (what does that even mean, anyway?), I am not funny. #Rude

I don’t know what would give him that idea…..

He, on the other hand, is apparently quite hysterical in his own mind at all times…

I try to take into account the thoughts and feelings of others when making pathetic stabs at humor. Only after careful consideration of what is appropriate to actually speak (or post, as the case may be), do I say/post/tweet/update to whatever my thoughts are. I’m not the person who will verbal diarrhea themselves all over live interactions, and risk a fatal blow to another’s ego or self-esteem, just for the sake of being funny.

Okay… That may be a 12 pound load of bull slight exaggeration. I’ve definitely posted about bodily waste (inappropriate), my love of the F word (offensive), and my thoughts on breastfeeding and baby body fluids (just plain gross). And I may or may not say something (trying to be funny) to embarrass myself or others on a daily basis. #oops

So here’s to you, Mr Funny Man.

I love you, husby! :-)

Those were seriously some of the saddest jokes ever…which made them hilarious. You two are cute. Hope you have a great Valentines Day.

  2. I think you are funny. My husband says the same thing about me, but my friends claim otherwise. Then my husband will say that he is going to write a book about my antics.

    Love you too wifey!
