  1. Last night at the football field a woman stood on the corner and waited with 3 of my kids so they didn’t get hit by a car in the parking lot, while I chased the 4th down the sidewalk. She then asked if I needed any help. I wanted to say, “is water wet!”, but I didn’t. She was kind. And I was humiliated, again, by my kids

  2. Well, it was a few months ago and while I feel someone has been kind to me since then, this situation sticks out in my mind. I was leaving Kroger with a huge cart full of groceries when it started to pour down rain. A gentleman came up along side me and helped me load my groceries in the back of my car while I was getting the kids out of the rain

  3. Two weeks ago, I was sitting in the infusion chair at the West Clinic, when one of the Wings Volunteers brought me a bag full of snacks that had been donated by Lausanne Students. Wish I could share a picture – the students decorated the brown paperlunch bags. SO CUTE!

  4. I like to go out for lunch after church on Sunday. Last Sunday, I asked the waitress for my check and she said, “Oh, it’s been paid for.” So I asked if I could pay the bill she was holding in her hand. She said, “Don’t you even want to know how much it’s for?” I said, “No. I don’t recognize you. Do you work here every Sunday at lunch?” She said “Yes.” She hugged me when I left. <

I think C and I will have lots to talk about in the future.
