Two Words You Need To Live By (Whether You Like It or Not)
I have something to say.
Wait for it, friend… it’s pretty profound. Believe it or not, I DID NOT come up with this revelation on own. I wish I had, because it could change the world. Ready for it? Here it is…
Be kind.
Be kind to one another, friends.
I’ve seen too many people without kindness recently. This includes kindness in front of other but also behind their backs.
It doesn’t matter if you’re in a bad mood or even hiding behind a “feisty” or “sassy” label you, your culture, or someone else has slapped over your identity.
If someone irritates you, messes with you, or even attacks you, BE KIND TO THEM.
No, you don’t have to “put up with” or let others walk all over you, and please, please, PLEASE don’t allow abuse … but I believe you can still be kind while being firm, sharing truth, or even reprimanding.
Am I perfectly kind all the time? No.
But I’ve found in my experience that kindness will get you farther, get you more and get you respect.

Smile.
Listen.
Watch your tone.
Hug.
Smile again.
Make eye contact.
Assume the best of people.
Be generous.
Think before you speak.
Say thank you.
Offer help.
And smile again.
Will this always work out and fix every scenario? No.
But … and this is a big “but”…
It’s the very least we can do in making our experience in this life a better one.
