Oh, Ya Know… Just the Usual.

A few nights ago, I actually thought we might have a semi-normal, non eventful evening with the girls.
(After they both calmed down from their screaming fit over a pinkie sized toy Dalmatian. Naturally worth squawking about for 15 minutes…)

I thought it’d be a semi-normal night with the girls. We ate dinner, read books, watched some TV, then they played together nicely in the bath before bed.

That is, until THIS WEIRDO (see picture to the right) decided he would shake things up a bit and JUMP HIS DIRTY, HAIRY SELF INTO THE TUB too.
(Mind you, the girls were already clean and washed at this point, but were no longer clean and washed with a DIRTY, HAIRY WEIRDO in there with them.)

He then decided to start shaking like a leaf. Like I just beat the living daylights out of him.
(Which I would have if I didn’t think his scrawny butt would break in half.)

I had to carry him (after a short chase around the tub), sopping and dripping nasty, wet dog-ness from the bathroom… to the bedroom… to the hallway… to the living room… to the back door. Where he proceeded to continue shaking and dripping nasty, wet dog-ness all over my back door frame.

I have to tell you… this dog is already extremely strange and socially awkward. This behavior is normal. (Just so you don’t go calling pet protective services on me or something.)

And us Funstons sure know how to nail the normal.

Nothing can be easy, can it?

  • I have to make sure the bathroom door is FIRMLY closed or I end up with a lab or two in the shower with me. I feel your pain! :)
