Your First 5 Minutes

I wanted to jump on here quickly and share a new app I’ve stumbled across.

Okay – “stumbled across” isn’t quite the correct term. That makes it sound like an accident. It wasn’t. My knowledge of this new app was strategic under the powerful forces of Lysa TerKeurst God. (That sentences makes what I’m about to share sound pretty epic, huh? Well, I’ll let you decide if it’s epic or not. Get back to me on that.)

The past week, I started using the new app, First5. Proverbs 31 Ministries developed this app with the idea we should wake up with God’s teaching and give Him the first 5 minutes of our day. Lysa TerKeurst has a big ‘ole story (that’s pretty cool) about what gave her this revelation.

It has some cool features too:

• alarm setting that when turned off, takes you straight to the day’s teaching.
• pretty graphics (because who doesn’t love anything pretty?)
• “More Moments” of additional teaching for later in the day (because LIFE)
• comments section
• “My Moment” section to type what you’ve learned
• and more…

You may have heard of it, but I felt the urge to share too. Because it’s making my mornings slightly better than they used to be. 🙂 (And no, P31 did not pay me to share this with you… though I wouldn’t refuse a large check. <Ahem, P31!> *wink, wink* *nudge, nudge* 😉 )
